31st July featuring George McNaughton Ellis plus floor spots

Hi all,

We’re coming up to our last show before we break for August, so head on down!

On 31st July show has at its featured act George McNaughton Ellis, a folk singer and guitarist from South-East London and co-founder and organiser of the Hill Station Folk Night on Telegraph Hill. He’ll be playing a variety of folk songs, with old and new stories all richly told with history and place at their heart!

As always, there will also be plenty of slots available for anyone who wants to sing a song, play a tune, do a dance or read a poem – all acoustic and unamplified in true folk club style, of course!

Although entry is free, we have a suggested donation of £5 if you like what you hear, all of which goes to the main act.

Things will kick off from around 7:30, but would recommend turning up from around 7 if you want to secure a floor spot.

Look forward to seeing you all there!
