Saturday 4th January 2014 – featuring Stick In The Wheel

Stick In The Wheel is a London-based trio of folk musicians playing dobro-driven songs with harmonies that conjure old time folk singalongs.  Their material includes traditional as well as self-penned numbers.  They have been doing a residency at the EFDSS at Cecil Sharp House this autumn, talking to the people behind the scenes as well as the performers, to find out more about the place “at the heart of English Folk”.

There will also be floor spots as usual, so come along and sing a song! With or without an instrument, traditional or original. Or read a poem. Or do a dance.

Doors 7.30pm, music starts at 8pm. Come along at 7.30pm to put your name down for floor spots. Entry is £3, all the door money goes to the guest act.
