Hi all,
We are back! It’s January 2026, the weather is cold, so come on down to the Endeavour in Deptford and warm yourself up with some roaring hot folk music!
To kick us off for 2026 we have the terrifc Bal de Bourdon, a four-piece group playing music from France, the Channel Islands and Cornwall.
Their repertoire includes traditional music from Brittany and other French regions, as well as rare and little-known songs from Cornwall and the Channel Islands, all sung in the original languages but with engaging new arrangements and rich vocal harmonies.
There will also be plenty of slots available for anyone who wants to sing a song, play a tune, or read a poem – all acoustic and unamplified in true folk club style, of course!
Although entry is free, we have a suggested donation of £5 if you like what you hear.
Things will kick off from around 7:30, but would recommend turning up from around 7 if you want to secure a floor spot.
